Competition gets underway in Finland

The 2015 series of the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy got underway today with a short blast around city centre stage of Harju, right in the heart of Jyväskylä.

The 2.27km stage was taken by Belgian driver Ghislain de Mévius, taking his first fastest stage time in DDFT competion. Local up and coming pilot Max Vatanen was second in 2.2sec who in turn was followed by current Trophy leader Marius Aasen, in just 0.1sec.

Young Dutch hopeful Mats van den Brand was off to a shakey start, having an incident 0.82km into the stage that damaged his steering.
